YAYASAN TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN BURSARY 2011 & 2012 DTAR

SUMMARY

Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation encourages application from qualified Malaysian citizens to be awarded the Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman Bursary 2011 & 2012. This scholarship was structured to honour the deeds of the late YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj as First Prime Minister as well as the Father of Independence. Beneficiary will be selected from outstanding graduates of local Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA) from low-income or poor families.

ELIGIBILITY

• Basic Requisite

Malaysian Citizen

Complete the Bachelor's Degree at any local public institutions of higher learning (IPTA) in Malaysia in between 1 October 2011 and 30 September 2012. A Convocation is not required for application. Examination results and comprehensive transcript are enough.

Low-income family background

• Academic and Co-curriculum Requisites

Attained excellent results in a Bachelor's Degree programme with CGPA / PNGK of 3.50 or higher.

Possesses leadership qualities with outstanding / active participation in extra-curricular activities.

BURSARY VALUE

The bursary amount and the number of recipients will be decided solely by the Lembaga Pemegang Amanah YTAR. The decisions made are final. Contributions are made in the form of PTPTN loan repayment for the First Degree stage only.

FAMILY INCOME VERIFICATION

Information regarding the family income of the applicant must be verified by a Penghulu Mukim (or equivalent) or Ketua Jabatan / Department Leader (Majikan / Employer) that really recognizes the family of the applicant.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
